Who we are
We at #Romulation are hard working people. We DO NOT
hack in any way
or form, but we do mention hack or HACK//SIGN. Hack//Sign is an
anime series that
is downloadable from mIRC (and other
places, but mIRC is by far the
best). Now that
that's out of the way, I can move on to the other stuff.
What we do
Basically mIRC is a program that
allows you to participate in an Internet Relay Chat. IRC is a
place where people form channels (or chat rooms) and do/speak
about whatever their theme is (i.e: anime, roms, yadda, yadda).
Most channels have content for download. A channel's name tells
you what they do in there and we at #Romulation are no different.
#Romulation is a place for people to go and find
roms for any system. Currently we are trying to get PS2,
Dreamcast, and more PSX roms; pending on Gamecube and Xbox. We
also serve anime and mp3's but we like to try to
focus on roms. ^_^
How do I
get these roms?
Getting the roms, if you know how to navigate
mIRC , is simple, but if you are a
first time user
or new to the program, you may find it extremely complex. Don't
worry. Stick with it and it
will become second nature. It took me a couple weeks to learn
the basics. Also, we here at
#Romulation will try to help you as best as possible. @Croaker
and I, @Shin, don't mind
answering questions about such things, but you're probably better off
asking Croaker first,
he's better with technical stuff like this.
This may seem like a ways to go to just get roms, but it IS WORTH
YOUR TIME. Most
of the best SNes roms have copyrights now and cannot be downloaded
from sites. Neo
Geo roms are also becoming scarce. Lets not forget the issues
that are surrounding Nintendo and other websites hosting their roms.
One minute they're there and the next they're not.
It's recommended that you go through these methods to get to these
roms. If you are a bit curious on how the chat runs, go here and
